The Government of Belarus together with the National Bank are making quite ambitious plans – to be reckoned among 30 countries with the most favourable business climate. In order to fulfill this task more than 30 standard acts have been approved recently. These acts secure the announcing principle of state registration and liquidation of profit-making organizations as well as simplify licensing and special permission procedures.

For the last six months there have been taken some measures aimed at improvement of the investment climate. Among them is the abolition of the “golden share” institution which gave rise to constant unfavourable comments from international organizations and foreign companies.
