The head of the state Alexander Lukashenka signed Decrees #335 and #336 on the 28th of June “On Holding Negotiations on the International Draft Agreement, Signing of the Agreement and its Temporal Application.” The press service of the Head of the government reports.
Decree #335 states as a base for the negotiations a draft of the Agreement on releasing some forms of customs control by customs bodies of the countries-members of the Custom Union.
Decree #336 states as a base for the negotiations a draft on the Agreement between the Governments of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia regarding the peculiarities of the usage of vehicles for international transportation, carrying passengers, and transporting trailers and semitrailers, containers and railroad transport, as well as transporting goods and (or) baggage, for internal transportation on the customs territory of the Custom Union.
Andrew Kobiakov deputy prime-minister is authorized to hold talks on the Draft Agreement and signing of the Agreement if the parties reach a decision within the approved agreement.
According to the Decree the Agreement will be temporally applied starting from the enforcement of the Agreement on the Customs Code of the Custom Union from the 27 December, 2009 to the moment it will be taken in force.
