Russia is interested in Belarusian experience in the field of judicial mediation, said during the press conference “Current trends in economic justice in Belarus and Russia” Head of the Supreme Court of Arbitration of the Russian Federation Anton Ivanov.
“We closely monitor the progress of our judicial systems’ work and exchange experience. In Belarus judicial mediation has reached a high level, whereas in our country we haven’t managed to do it yet,” said the Head of the Russian Arbitration Court.
Anton Ivanov stressed that “for us the success of judicial mediation in Belarus is of key importance. Our judges have a high workload and we would like to reduce it”.
He also said that Belarusian experience in the field of judicial mediation is significant and useful for Russia. In Russia a similar bill didn’t receive any support due to corruption concerns expressed by deputies. At the same time, Anton Ivanov believes that it is the streamlined Belarusian legislation with straightforward procedures in this area that will help to adopt a similar law in Russia.
