General Contract to Build Belarusian Nuclear Power Plant Signed in Minsk

During the bilateral meeting Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a General Contract for the Construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.

During the bilateral meeting Prime Minister of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich and Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev signed a General Contract for the Construction of the Belarusian nuclear power plant.

Among others the contract was signed by Director of the State Enterprise “Directorate for Nuclear Power Plant Construction” Michael Filimonov and Director of JSC “Nizhny Novgorod Engineering Company “Atomenergoproekt” (JSC NIAEP) – JSC “Atomstroyexport” (ASE) Valery Limarenko.

Besides that, JSC “Russian Agency for Export Credit and Investment Insurance” and Belarusian State Unitary Enterprise for Export and Import Insurance “Beleximgarant” signed a General Agreement on Cooperation and Joint Activity. As a result, Belarusian and Russian parties are planning to consider the projects aimed at export contracts and insurance support for joint export together.
