Belarusian Parliamentarians Take Part in Session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly

From June 29th to July 3rd 2008 annual session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly concerning “Transparency within OSCE” takes place in the capital of Kazakhstan – Astana. Belarusian Parliamentary delegation headed by Zabolotets S.M., Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, participates in the above-mentioned event as well.

From June 29^th to July 3^rd 2008 annual session of OSCE Parliamentary Assembly concerning “Transparency within OSCE” takes place in the capital of Kazakhstan – Astana. Belarusian Parliamentary delegation headed by Zabolotets S.M., Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives at the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus, participates in the above-mentioned event as well.

The session considers the issues of water control, measures against children traffic, sexual exploitation and violence to women, cyberspace security and migration. At the suggestion of Belarusian delegation members of the Assembly will discuss draft resolution on Chernobyl subject matter. Other items on the session’s agenda touch upon such subject areas as elections monitoring and human rights on OSCE territory, for instance, illicit human traffic.
