Participants of EU-Russia Business Breakfast Discussed Prospects of Eurasian Integration

According to the press service of the Government of Russia, on July 30th, 2012 Deputy Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation A.E.Likhachev took part in a business breakfast organized by the Association of European Businesses (AEB) and the EU-Russia Industrialists’ Round Table (IRT). The event took place in Brussels (Belgium). On behalf of the EU the event was attended by the representatives of the AEB and the IRT, as well as major European companies such as Siemens, Astra Zeneca, BP, A.P. Moller Maersk.

During the business breakfast its participants exchanged their opinions on the prospects for Eurasian economic integration and cooperation between Russia and the EU, including within a joint initiative EU-Russia “Partnership for Modernization”.

A.E.Likhachev presented a report “The Eurasian Economic Commission: Formation of Supranational Authority of the Customs Union and Common Economic Space”.
