WTO Deputy Director General: I believe in the future of the Customs Union

Deputy Director General of the World Trade Organization Alejandro Jara feels optimistic about the prospects of the Customs Union.

“I treated the first information regarding the establishment of the Customs Union between Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan as a big joke. But now, when I see the results this organization has achieved in such a short time, I believe in its future,” he said at the session “Opportunities and Challenges of Economic Integration” held within the framework of the V Astana Economic Forum.
