Attorney-general of Belarus Grigori Vasilevich said that Belarus takes the leads over Russia in many ways in the experience of fight against corruption. “A lot of those legislative acts that are to be passed in Russia we already have”, - cited BelTA attorney-general.
The corruption in Russia, as President Dmitri Medvedev told at the beginning of July, has really turned into “a mode of existence” and “unfortunately into a norm of everyday life”. However he expressed his confidence that Russia must enter the year 2009 with a modern anticorruption legislation.
According to the Belarusian attorney-general the both states are willingly adopting successful ground works of anticorruption campaign from each other. “Belarus has considerably moved forward in the improvement of legislative basis against corruption and often the Russian Federation even borrows some elements of our legislative basis”, - said G.Vasilevich.
