An example of Belarusian and Russian department’ cooperation is control authorities coordinated action, said deputy State Secretary of the Union State Albert Stepanov at the press-conference in Vitebsk. “State control committee of Belarus and Chamber of Accounts of Russia regularly, twice a year hold a session thus thoroughly controlling the Union State budget”, - pointed out deputy State Secretary of the Union State. The Union official is convinced that due to this control authorities of Belarus and Russia give a very serious support to the Union State Permanent Committee in the work with the Ministries of Finance of the two states and the Union State Permanent Committee in its turn is open for control over its work starting from the preliminary stage of budget formation. “Control authorities staff are present at all working groups meetings on budget and see how the decisions are taken”, - pointed out Albert Stepanov. “In this regard today we observe a very big contribution of control authorities to the Union budget process development and to the Union State development as a whole”, - he added. And all this is possible to achieve due to the fact that control authorities of the two states don’t confine themselves only to the problems of the control over budgetary funds expenditure but touch upon somewhere political as well as organizational issues.
