As is reported by the official site of the CHL, the goalkeeper of Minsk “Dinamo” Vitaliy Koval was recognized as last week’s best goalkeeper at Continental Hockey League championship.

Within the seventeenth week of the regular Continental Hockey League championship Vitaliy Koval played two matches. In one of them, with Army Sports Club from St. Petersburg, he let through no pucks; thanks to this fact Minsk residents carried a guest victory (1:0) over a formidable opponent. In the other match, with Yaroslavl “Lokomotiv” which ranks third in the draw, Vitaliy let through just 2 pucks having parried 32 throws. Last week Mr. Koval had the best reliability index (1.01) as well as percentage of parried throws (97.1%).

Weeks’ best fullback became Konstantin Korneev from Central Army Sports Club who during three guest matches scored a goal, made three scoring shots and got a utility indicator “plus four”.

The player of Chekhov “Vityaz” Gleb Klimenko who in two matches threw 4 pucks was recognized as week’s best forward.

The forward of “Sibir” Vladimir Tarasenko became last week’s best novice: he scored 2 points (1+1) and got a utility indicator “plus two” having played in two matches.
