In 2008 “Belshina” doubled export to Russia

In January-September of the current year “Belshina” joint stock company has doubled the volume of export to Russia by 52, 7% to the amount of 180 million dollars, that was said to journalists at the enterprise.

Following the results of the 9 months more than 1, 6 million units of tires have been delivered to Russian market. Besides, the main export volume in natural units falls on auto tires – there have been 1, 3 million units dispatched to the amount of 38, 5 million dollars. There have been 287, 5 thousand units of truck tires delivered that made up 128, 2 million dollars and 28, 4 thousand units of agricultural ones that is 13 million dollars.

As it is underlined at the enterprise, Russian market is one of the priorities in export directions. In Russia there are seven “Belshina” trading houses and moreover, the enterprise sells products through distribution network of “Belneftehim” concern. Generally the deliveries to Russia make 56% in “Belshina” export volume in natural units and 44% in value terms.

Belarusian tires export to other CIS countries in January-September has increased by 62, 3% to 92, 7 million dollars. About 1 million units of auto tires, 153, 8 thousand units of track units and 18, 5 thousand units of agricultural tires have been delivered. 79 thousand units of tires (mainly agricultural and track ones) to the amount of 137, 3 million dollars have been dispatched to the far-abroad countries.

Improvements are observed also in “Belshina” products sales in Belarus. In January-September the enterprise has delivered to domestic market more than 1, 1 million units of tires to the amount of 228, 9 million dollars that in value terms exceeds the figures of the same period of the previous year by 27, 3%. Also 381, 4 thousand units of track tires (130, 4 million dollars), 312, 7 thousand agricultural ones (80, 8 million dollars) and 424, 8 thousand auto tires (16, 4 million dollars) have been dispatched.

“Belshina” joint stock company is one of the largest tire enterprises in Europe. It releases about 200 dimension-types of tires for auto, track and heavy autos, construction-and-road and lift-and-carry vehicles, electric transport, buses, tractors and agricultural vehicles. The main customers on domestic market are BelAZ, MAZ, MTZ, MZKT, and “Gomselmush” and “Amkodor” joint stock company. More than 60% of “Belshina” production is exported to the CIS, Europe, Middle East, Asia, Africa, North and South America countries.
