Opening Sitting of Committee on Legal Aspects of Union State Formation

As is reported, the opening sitting of the Committee on Legal Aspects of Union State Formation of Russian Bar Association will be held at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation on February 17th, 2009.

As is reported, the opening sitting of the Committee on Legal Aspects of Union State Formation of Russian Bar Association will be held at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation on February 17^th, 2009.

It is expected that the representatives of the parliaments, higher courts as well as Belarusian and Russian research institutions will take part in the work of the committee.

It is assumed that during the sitting the participants will appoint both co-chairmen and a Deputy Chairman – executive secretary of the Committee as well as approve the Statute of Committee which will define its goals, objectives and main areas of activity. Agenda of the committee meeting also includes the items concerning the approval of expert and working group composition as well as discussion of the Committee’s plan of operation for the first half of the year 2009.
