Quotes

"It is necessary to ensure that all citizens of Russia and Belarus understand what the Union State is"

On March 9, Dmitry Mezentsev was interviewed by Rosbusinessconsulting (RBC). Here are some quotes:

“The Russian Federation in relation to Belarus has never allowed itself those steps that could be interpreted as some kind of pressure, threats, a reason for offense. This is by definition impossible. "

“Today we see a change in rhetoric, the readiness of the Belarusian authorities to hear people. I believe that even larger and deeper steps will be taken in this direction, especially since this is required by society, this is required by the external situation. "

"The potential of the union treaty signed in December 1999 is great and, in its own way, enormous."

"The symbols of the Union State would also be an important unifying factor."

“We need to ensure that all citizens of Russia and Belarus, or the absolute majority of those who are interested in political life, social life, understand what the Union State is. We have absolutely equal passports, we have no state borders. We have the opportunity for every Russian or every Belarusian to go to their brotherly neighboring country to improve their qualifications, study, receive treatment, talk with partners, and build a business. There are no restrictions here. "
