The Secretary of the Union State takes part in ‘Mercury Club’ meeting
On 7 October at the World Trade Center a regular meeting of the ‘Mercury Club’ was dedicated to the development of the Russian defence industry. The meeting was chaired by RAS Academician, Evgeny Primakov.

Belarus arranges tour for Russian regional media
Between 6 and 12 October Belarus arranged a press tour for representatives of the Russian regional media. It was themed ‘Current issues of the cooperation between Belarus and Russia’.

Secretary of the Union State congratulates participants in the Youth of the Union State sports contest
The opening ceremony of the fourth, and final, stage of the youth sports contest ‘Sport. Recognition. Success’ took place in the Smolensk State Academy for Physical Culture, Sport and Tourism on 6 October. Grigory Rapota, the Secretary of the Union State, congratulated the competition participants.
