Minsk to host the seminar: ‘Current Improvements in the Legal Framework of the Union State’
On 13 and 14 November 2013 Minsk will host the thirty fourth meeting of the Permanent Committee at the Parliamentary Assembly of the Union of Belarus and Russia, on building the Union State. Alexey Kubrin, the Deputy Secretary of State, and member of the Permanent Committee, will take part in the meeting as a representative of the Permanent Committee.

Scientists to discuss problems of the safe development of nuclear energy
On 6 November 2013 a joint meeting of the Bureau of Departments of Energy, Engineering, Mechanics and Control Processes of the Russian Academy of Sciences and the Coordination Council for Engineering Sciences of the Russian Academy of Sciences will be held in Moscow to consider fundamental problems of the safe development of nuclear energy.

As part of the Union State events, the final stage of the academic competition for schoolchildren, ‘Russia and Belarus: Our historical and spiritual commonality’ will take place in Polotsk between 27 October and 2 November 2013. The competition is being financed from the Union State’s 2013 budget.
