This year Russia has celebrated a day of remembrance for the soldiers killed in action during World War I (1914-1918). This sorrowful, ceremonial holiday was established at the initiative the Russian parliament last Autumn, and was arranged to coincide with the day of entry of the Russian Empire into World War I.
