Great clowns (Part 1)
One of my most vivid memories is of the Circus on Tsvetnoy Bulvar. I remember seeing the lions the other side of a fence; they were not actually so terrible, although they roared a lot. I remember my heart being in my mouth when I watched the trapeze artists ‘flying’ under the dome. And, of course, I remember the great clowns Yury Nikulin and Mikhail Shuidin who were more than just stars!
