The world celebrates the Day of Friendship and Unity of the Slavic Peoples
On 25 June, about 350 million Slavs around the world celebrated a common holiday which symbolises their historical roots and ethnic, cultural and linguistic unity – the Day of Friendship and Unity of the Slavic Peoples. This holiday is the most widely celebrated by the fraternal peoples of the three eastern Slavic countries – Russia, Belarus and Ukraine.
