Marlen Khutsiev: I am fundamentally against the ‘seamy side’
Marlen Khutsiev, the Soviet and Russian director, scriptwriter, actor and teacher, has made less than ten films. However every film he has directed has been a sensation in the country’s cultural life: ‘Spring on Zarechnaya Street’, ‘The Ilyich Gate, ‘July Rain’, ‘It was the month of May’.<br />
