Russian artist donates picture to the Museum of the Defence of the Brest Fortress
Today the exhibition of the Museum of the Defence of the Brest Fortress has been supplemented with a valuable exhibit. A BELTA correspondent reports that the Russian artist Alexander Kucheryavenko, from Novosibirsk, has donated his picture “Maxim” to the museum.

“Steal Belmondo” comedy by Belarusfilm Studio to take part in the ”Kinishok” Festival
The Belarusfilm Studio has reported to BELTA that its comedy “Steal Belmondo” (directed by Nikolay Knyazev in 2012) will form part of the non-competitive programme of full-length feature films “Kino na Ploshchadi” at the 22nd “Kinoshok” Open Film Festival for the CIS countries and Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia.

The ”TEART-2013” International Theatre Art Forum has attracted its first capacity crowd
The “TEART-2013” International Theatre Art Forum, which will be held in Minsk between between 28 September - 21 October, has already sold-out. All the tickets to “Lear”, based on William Shakespeare's play, and staged by the Saint Petersburg Priyut Komedianta Theatre (Abode of the Comedians) have been sold. In the autumn Belarusfilm will start shooting a film inspired by Chekhov’s “A Living Chattel”
On 25 September the Belarusfilm National Movie Studio, jointly with Russian Star Media Distribution LLC, will begin shooting the two part fiction film "Zugzwang" based on the short story “A Living Chattel” by Chekhov.
