Kazakhstan has changed its terms and conditions for the transit of international vehicles. The Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus has reported this to BELTA but referred it to the Embassy of Belarus in Kazakhstan.

In the first half of 2013 the export of milk and dairy products from Belarus exceeded the export volume in the same period of the previous year by 21.5%. Currently milk and dairy products form 38% of all agricultural exports from the country. In the period from January to June the export of these products (1,800,000 tonnes) from Belarus totalled more than USD 1 billion. That is 35.8% more than the export volume in the first half of 2012. This was announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Food of the Republic of Belarus.

The number of transactions at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange increased by 31% in the period from January to June 2013, as against the same period in 2012. The sum of all the transactions amounted to USD 924.6 million (RUR 7,997.6 billion). The customer database of the Exchange is also increasing. Currently, over 12,400 companies (among which about 2,700 companies are nonresidents from 56 countries worldwide) conclude transactions at the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange.

Belarus has banned the import to Russia via Belarus of confectionery products manufactured at the factories of the Ukrainian Roshen Confectionery Corporation, as reported by the Ministry of Health of Belarus.

Belarus raised export duties on oil and oil products on 1 August 2013. According to the relevant decision laid down by Resolution of the Council of Ministers No. 670 as of 29 July 2013, the export duty on crude oil has increased from USD 369.2 to USD 379.8 per tonne , as reported by the press service of the Belarusian Government.
