Regular nomination of candidates of Belarusian and Russian creative unions for Union State Prize in the field of literature and art has started

Public press centre of the Press House – an official Press Centre for information and organizational support of the Union State Prize in the field of literature and culture on the territory of the Republic of Belarus – starts a series of meetings between the representatives of Belarusian creative unions and the youth.

The first meeting which is scheduled for December 5^th, 2008 will be held with the participation of the representatives of the public association “Belarusian Union of Architects” and will address the following subject: “Belarusian Union of Architects today: top Belarusian projects. On participation in nomination of Union’s candidates for Union State Prize in the field of literature and art”.

It is planned that within the framework of the event the representatives of the Union will present the best architectural designs of the last decade as well as conduct an excursion into the most striking designs in Minsk.

The invitations to participate in the event were received by the representatives of the Union State Standing Committee, creative unions of Belarus, students of Belarusian universities, representatives of the public association “Belarusian National Youth Union” as well as leading national mass media.
