At the Meeting of the SSC Belarusian and Russian Presidents to Examine Programme of Joint Action in the Area of Foreign Policy

At the meeting of the Supreme State Council which is scheduled to take place at the beginning of December in Moscow Alexander Lukashenko and Dmitriy Medvedev will examine more than 100 economic, political and social issues, reported Deputy Head of the Union State Standing Committee’s Mission in Minsk Pavel Kuzemchak to the correspondent of www.soyuz.by.

At the meeting of the Supreme State Council which is scheduled to take place at the beginning of December in Moscow Alexander Lukashenko and Dmitriy Medvedev will examine more than 100 economic, political and social issues, reported Deputy Head of the Union State Standing Committee’s Mission in Minsk Pavel Kuzemchak to the correspondent of www.soyuz.by.

Among others, the provisional agenda includes the discussion of the programme of joint action in the foreign policy area of the Treaty Establishing the Union State member states in 2008-2009. Besides that, the Heads of States will hear the report about the progress of the Plan of Social Development in the Union State till 2010.

SSC’s agenda also lists some items concerning trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Russia: Council of Ministers’ report about budget-2006 execution, alterations and additions to SSC Decree of the Union State budget-2008, budget-2009, the results of trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Russia in 2007 and the first half-year of 2008.
