Festive concert dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Union State took place in Minsk.

On December 18 in the evening a festive concert dedicated to the 10th anniversary of Union State Treaty took place in Minsk Palace of Republic. Apart from Union State Secretary Pavel Borodin, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Minsk Alexander Surikov, employees of the Representative office of Union State Permanent Committee located in Minsk city and deputies of Parliamentary Assembly of Union of Belarus and Russia were invited to the concert.

On December 18 in the evening a festive concert dedicated to the 10^th anniversary of Union State Treaty took place in Minsk Palace of Republic. Apart from Union State Secretary Pavel Borodin, Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Minsk Alexander Surikov, employees of the Representative office of Union State Permanent Committee located in Minsk city and deputies of Parliamentary Assembly of Union of Belarus and Russia were invited to the concert.

The hymns of the both states opened the evening, after that welcoming speech of the First Deputy of the Chairman of the Council of the Russian Federation Alexander Torshin and First Deputy of the Chairman of the Council of National Assembly of Belarus Anatoli Rubinov. First vice-speakers in their speeches talked about the significance and irreplaceability of the process of the current Union State formation.

In particular A.Torshin pointed out that 10 years ago Belarus and Russia expressed their desire to be together and today they are firmly moving forward on their way to integration. And in the nearest future there will be achieved a qualitative gap in Russian and Belarusian integration, believes first deputy of the Chairman of Federation Council.

In his turn the first deputy of the Chairman of Belarusian Council of Republic Anatoli Rubinov pointed out that due to the document signed 10 years ago by the enterprises of Belarus and Russia today they manages to form an industrial cooperation. And according to Anatoli Rubinov this in its turn stipulates the development of our two economies. According to the first vice-speaker of the upper chamber of Belarusian parliament, adherence of Belarus and Russia to the Union State formation principles were once again proves during the session of Union State Superior State Council that took place in Moscow on December 10.

Then Belarusian and Russian artists were performing at the stage.

It is symbolic that the first to perform at the concert dedicated to the anniversary of Union f Belarus and Russia became the duet of Russian singer Valeria and “Belarusian Pesnyary”. It is worth mentioning that such a number of celebrities that performed in front of the audience that evening was a rare phenomenon. And each artist performing at the stage confessed to the audience that Belarusian audience for him very dear.
