Board Meeting of Belarus’ and Russia’s Ministries of Justice Took Place in Minsk

On November 26th Minsk hosted a joint board meeting of the Ministries of Justice of the Union State member-nations.

On November 26th Minsk hosted a joint board meeting of the Ministries of Justice of the Union State member-nations.

During the meeting the board considered the problems arising while implementing the decisions of EurAsEC Customs Union Committee on the territory of both states in case corresponding documents are signed by the Heads of States.

The participants of the joint board also discussed an intergovernmental agreement on reciprocal entry of marriage and divorce registration notes into passports. It was decided to stamp national Russian passports.

Besides that, the board discussed possible amendment of legislation in the area of corruption prevention, accreditation of forensic-expert laboratories as well as exchange of experience in the sphere of legal examination of regulatory-legal acts.

Joint board of Belarus’ and Russia’s Ministries of Justice is a standing deliberative body that ensures coordination and cooperation among bodies and agencies of justice within the Union State. The board also secures implementation of regulatory-legal acts and decisions of Union State authorities.
