24 items to be included in the Union State Council of Ministers’ agenda

In an interview with the correspondent of the Union State information analysis portal, Sergey Zabolotets, Head of the Union State Standing Committee Representative Office in Minsk, reported that 24 issues are planned to be discussed at the meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers scheduled to take place in Moscow on October 28th.

In an interview with the correspondent of the Union State information analysis portal, Sergey Zabolotets, Head of the Union State Standing Committee Representative Office in Minsk, reported that 24 issues are planned to be discussed at the meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers scheduled to take place in Moscow on October 28th.

According to him, the majority of these issues are now ready to be discussed having been harmonized by the governments of the two countries.

As Sergey Zabolotets said, the agenda includes a varied range of items. For instance, the participants will definitely examine the progress of implementing the decisions taken at the previous meetings of the Union State Council of Ministers. Execution of the Plan of Anti-Recessionary Activities which has been approved at the meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers at the beginning of the current year will be given careful consideration as well.

Some items concern trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. The most important item on the agenda is the draft budget of the Union State for the next year.

Besides that, it is planned to examine the implementation progress of some production and technical programmes of the Union State.

In his turn, Deputy State Secretary of the Union State Albert Stepanov informed that the participants are expected to consider the problem of the Union State property use as well as the problem of its functioning.
