Politicians, scientists and cultural workers of Russia and Belarus wish Union State residents a happy New Year.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Belarus Alexander Surikov said this year has proved that relations between Belarus and Russia within the Union State are getting stronger. “May all your wishes come true,” the diplomat wished all Union State residents.

Head of Mission of Rossotrudnichestvo in Belarus Alexander Lomakin noted that recent year has in many ways confirmed positive development of bilateral relations between Belarus and Russia. We have managed to considerably advance the integration processes. He wished all the citizens of the Union State further prosperity, strengthening of friendship, mutual understanding, peace and all the best in the New Year.

Head of the International Relations Department at the Academy of Public Administration under the Aegis of the President of Belarus, Doctor of Political Sciences Sergei Kizima wished everybody peace and tranquility in the coming year. “I hope that next year we will have more confidence. Starting this year with considerable optimism, I hope that all people will be able to get more for themselves within the framework of our integration structures,” he said.

General Director of the Union State Broadcasting Organization Igor Ugolnikov wished the Union State further development in the New Year, and added that success depends on every citizen of Belarus and Russia. “If all people want to achieve something, it will definitely come true,” he expressed confidence. In addition, Igor Ugolnikov advised everybody to watch TRO Channel, read www.soyuz.by and all the union press in the New Year. “Next year we’ll show you a lot of new and interesting programmes,” he added.
