“I have just signed the decision and gave consent to sign the contract with Russia for the construction of our first NPP, ” - said the Head of State. Thereby he marked that this is a great achievement. “Such a decision is costly for Belarus and we are very grateful to Russian authorities for having kept their words and regardless of terrible pressure from all directions are still true to their words,” - stated the President.

“And we will build NPP, the more so we have already done a lot at the NPP future construction site by our own efforts, ” - said Alexander Lukashenko.
