For the first six months of 2011 the Union State budget was executed 91.6%, said Head of the Union State Standing Committee Representative Office in Minsk Sergei Zabolotets to the correspondent of www.soyuz.by.
Implementation of the Union budget was one of the key items on the agenda at the meeting of the Union State Council of Ministers which took place in Moscow on August 15th. Before bringing this issue up for discussion at the Council of Ministers, it was examined at the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and the State Control Committee of Belarus.
Budget revenue in the first half-year totaled 2360800 thousand Russian rubles. The expenditure part made up 2147300 thousand Russian rubles, or 91.6% of the revenue. Having considered these and other figures, Union State Council of Ministers found budget execution satisfactory.
Speaking about the meeting of the Council of Ministers on the whole, Sergei Zabolotets noted that it was very constructive and substantial. “There were no arguments, all views were harmonized and all 16 issues were addressed in a concrete, businesslike manner,” he added.
