This statement was made at a press conference in Minsk by Anatoly Vankovicz, Chairman of the Belarus and Russia Union Parliamentary Assembly on Security, Defense and Crime.
He noted that Belarus and Russia has developed national legislative frameworks that allow solving information security problems. “The law on security passed in the Russian Federation, a new National Security Concept was adopted in Belarus. Currently all security issues in the Union State are governed by the plan adopted in 1999. Today, this concept requires revision to reflect changes made ?? to the national legislation of Belarus and Russia. When looking into the matter, many threats, including those in information sphere, are not considered in the Concept of the Union State "- he stressed.
