S.Zabolotets supports the idea of Union State expansion

As S. Zobolotsets, deputy chairman of Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State and deputy chairman of lower chamber of Belarusian Parliament, said to www.soyuz.by correspondent, he supports any integration process that promotes state living standards increase. In particular he sees a perspective in Union State expansion that can provide new working places for the citizens of Belarus. “Unification processes today are very topical for world community and one can see that by the example of EU”, - pointed out S. Zabolotsets.

As S. Zobolotsets, deputy chairman of Parliamentary Assembly of the Union State and deputy chairman of lower chamber of Belarusian Parliament, said to www.soyuz.by correspondent, he supports any integration process that promotes state living standards increase. Apart from that, estimating Parliamentary Assembly work, he emphasized that union parliament is the most effective integrated parliamentary structure in postsoviet space. He reminded that in the first half of 2008 Parliamentary Assembly session is taking place in Grodno, where the deputies will discuss the issues of budget and union programs implementation. Meanwhile he added that from year to year the budget has been growing though not so fast and not at those rates as one would like it to be.
