A.Lukashenko: Belarus continues to follow the policy of Union State formation

The Head of the State underlined that it is necessary to develop military and military and technical cooperation with the priority of strengthening the relations with our major strategic ally – Russian Federation. He reminded that at the beginning of February there was given an impulse to the development of military cooperation with Russian Federation and other friendly states.

President pointed out that Belarus remains the supporter of the Union State formation policy. Thus the most important task is the further development of regional force grouping of Belarus and Russia and the Union State security improvement.

At the same time A.Lukashenko said that Belarus cooperates actively with other CIS countries as well as the countries of Asia and Latin America. Belarus advocates interaction with European Union, OSCE and NATO on the equality basis and positive results can be already observed.
