Union parliamentarians noted high voter turnout in elections of deputies to the State Duma
Representatives of the Parliamentary Assembly as part of the CIS Observer Mission took part in observing the parliamentary elections in Russia. The delegation was headed by the head of the Standing Committee of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus on international affairs and national security, head of the PS Commission on foreign policy Sergei Rachkov. The delegation also included parliamentarians Oleg Gaidukevich, Alexander Omelyanyuk, Olga Petrashova and Andrey Shishkin
