Ministry of Economy: Russia leads the list of investors in the Belarusian economy
According to the results of the first half of the year, the Belarusian economy received $4.3 billion of foreign investments. The main share (over 88%) is occupied by foreign direct investment (FDI). Their volume increased by 4.4%, the ministry said. Russia leads the list of investors: the top 3 countries that account for the bulk of FDI on a net basis include Russia - 22.6% ($387.8 million), Cyprus - 18% ($309.5 million), the Netherlands - 14 .1% ($242.4 million)
