Food security problem has been solved in Belarus - as reported by Nikolai Popkov, the Director General of RUE "Scientific and Practical Center of NAS of Belarus for livestock”, at a press conference.

According to him, National Academy of Sciences has five NPC of the agrarian profile, a number of institutions: veterinary medicine, fisheries, and aquaculture experienced center. The center also includes large agricultural enterprises.

Belarus has solved the problem of food security. As a result of targeted efforts the questions of milk and meat provision are solved. Today there is a question of creating competitive products. This is a multifaceted problem and it can only be achieved through the introduction of energy saving technologies. This requires fulfillment of three conditions: - The use of modern genetic technology, - Saving technologies of production, - Training and retraining of personnel who can work with modern technology. Nikolai Popkov said that the Center has created a unique European-level training farm for training and retraining of personnel. It carried 15 modern integrated solutions that allow modulating up to 180 processes.
