“Feeding-stuff supplied from Russia undergoes strict control in Belarus”, - V. Pavlovsky

Feeding stuff and proteinaceous raw materials imported from Russia are undergoing strict controls in Belarus. This was reported at a press conference given by Vasily Pavlovsky, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Food of Belarus. He indicated that the cases of African swine fever (ASF) registered in Russia and Belarus were the reason behind the checks on materials used to produce animal-feed, being carried out by experts from the Veterinary and Food Control Department of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food. There are certain types of feed intended for particular purposes which the cattle-breeding industry cannot do without.
