Belarus Received Fourth Tranche of EurAsEC Stabilization Loan

According to the press service of the Ministry of Finance, the fourth credit tranche of $ 440 million allocated from EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund has been transferred to the account of the Ministry of Finance in the National Bank of Belarus.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Finance, the fourth credit tranche of $ 440 million allocated from EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund has been transferred to the account of the Ministry of Finance in the National Bank of Belarus.

“Belarus has received the fourth credit tranche from the EurAsEC Anti-Crisis Fund in the amount of $440 million. The funds have been transferred to the account of the Ministry of Finance in the National Bank,” reads the statement.

On December 7th the Council of the EurAsEC ACF made a decision to grant Belarus $ 440 million as the fourth tranche of the stabilization loan. Belarusian authorities should now prepare a new letter of intent which will set the parameters of the stabilization programme in 2013.

The funds received shall be put to gold and foreign currency reserves which grew to $ 8 billion, 95 million as of January 1st, 2013.

Thus, taking into account the receipt of the 4th tranche, the amount of ACF funds provided to Belarus now totals $ 2.12 billion.
