We would remind you that China is one of the key foreign-trade partners of Belarus. For instance, in terms of turnover volume China ranks 8th among foreign-trade partners of Belarus judging by the previous 9 months’ results. The main line of Belarusian export to Chine is chemical production, potash fertilizers, trucks, spare parts and equipment for cars and tractors, electronic integrated chips and microassemblies. At present a number of Belarusian industrial enterprises have their own representatives and dealers in People's Republic China (“Belarusian Potassium Company”, “Minsk Tractor Plant”, “Minsk Automobile Plant” and others).
From China Belarus imports equipment, components and materials for industrial enterprises, telecommunication agencies, woodworking enterprises, light and medical industries as well as consumer products. Besides that, over the last five years People's Republic China has invested about $208 million in Belarusian economy.
During the visit Zenon Lomat is to meet the representatives of PRC Council of State, PRC Ministry of Control and the biggest Chinese corporations.
