The press relations service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus has stated that the application of the Belarusian party was considered at the last, 56th, session of the Committee held on 12-21 June in Vienna, and that the Committee had recommended to the General Assembly of the United Nations that Belarus should be admitted as a member of the Committee in the course of the 68th session.
