CSTO ready to response to US AD expansion

Collective Security Treaty Organization member-states (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Russia and Tadzhikistan) are about to create a new military structure on their borders in response to the deployment of the US antimissile defense system units (AD) based in the Czech Republic and Poland (so called “third positional area”). That was reported by CSTO secretary general Nikolai Bordiuzha.

Collective Security Treaty Organization member-states (Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kirgizia, Russia and Tadzhikistan) are about to create a new military structure on their borders in response to the deployment of the US antimissile defense system units (AD) based in the Czech Republic and Poland (so called “third positional area”). That was reported by CSTO secretary general Nikolai Bordiuzha.

“As far as the third positional area is concerned, I would like to say that this is one of the elements of that work being carried out on the CSTO member-states borders that involves the creation of a new military infrastructure and some of its USSR elements restoration”, - said N.Bordiuzha.

Meanwhile he pointed out that all the CSTO member-states worry when military object appear or such serious structures as AD are created around them. “It (AD) by the way can be transformed in different ways. Naturally it affects security very much and of course we take it in account in our activities”, -pointed out N.Bordiuzha.
