CSTO plans to set a single system of emergency cases prevention and elimination

In the scope of CSTO a single system of emergency cases prevention and elimination is planned to be set. The issue has been discussed at the meeting of Coordination Council on Emergency Cases CSTO.

“The question has been discussed and I think that in the nearest time the final decision will be made” - the Minister in charge of EMERCOM (Emergency Control Ministry) Sergei Shoigu announced after the meeting. The Minister explained that the matter concerns “the creation of the national centers of governance, but in the scope of the CSTO they should be adapted to some part and integrated in each other”.

Sergei Shoigu pointed out that the precise plans on the creation of such a system have already been determined. Moreover in the course of the meeting the questions concerning the creation of a single in-store availability and the development of training programs in educational institutions of the CSTO. “We also have considered the questions of the creation of polygons for training our specialists”.

In his turn the CSTO secretary-general Nikolai Bordyuzha said that a great importance would be given to the use of the joint forces of immediate response, the part of which is EMERCOM.

“The information on the training and practice of the EMERCOM divisions which took place in Kazakhstan was paid much attention to. The common point is that all divisions showed a good level of preparation and a good level of technical equipment at their disposal” - Nikolai Bordyuzha made the conclusion.
