Belarusian “eyes” of Russian tank

The level of secrecy of military and industrial technologies is higher than in any other sphere of industry. Typical example is the gap in cooperation between Ukraine and Russia. Due to political and geopolitical contradictions between Kiev and Moscow in postsoviet time implementation of many competitive military-technical projects has been stopped.

It is small wonder that due to the consensus in political sphere (it is especially topical today, when Belarus and Russia celebrate the 10^th anniversary of Union State) Belarusian and Russian enterprises of military and industrial complex managed to maintain industrial cooperation. And today general director of “Ural construction office” Vladimir Domnin with unconcealed pleasure speaks about cooperation with enterprises from Belarus when presenting the tank of new generation – rocket-gun T-90 to the Prime Minister Vladimir Putin. “The main prominent feature of one of the newest kinds of this tank T-90A that distinguishes it from other machines is optical and electronic system of fire suppression”, - pointed out Vladimir Domnin.

It is obvious that informative agencies do not disclose the details – what exactly in new machine has been produced in Belarus. But we may suppose that it is about sighting devices “BelOMO”. Experts also talk about opportunities of production in Belarus elements of fire suppression system. It is positive that the use of scientific and technological potential of the both countries gives us a chance to make another step towards strengthening of Union State defense capacity.
