Russian and Belarusian Experts to Complete Work on New Satellite

Rocket and Space Corporation “Energia” is currently completing the work on a new remote sensing satellite (RSS), said Corporation President and General Designer Vitaly Lopota.“We are finishing the work on a remote sensing satellite with unique characteristics. At the moment it is being assembled – the optical part of the equipment is developed together with Belarus, whereas the spacecraft itself is made in cooperation with EADS-Astrium,” RIA Novosti quotes V. Lopota.
