2nd International Festival “Honey Spas-2008” Gathered More than 130 Participants

Second International Festival “Honey Spas-2008” (“Commemoration of the Procession with the Holy Life-Giving Tree”) gathered more than 130 participants. As is reported by the public association “Club “Belarusian Bees” the festival will take place in Minsk from 7th to 17th August, 2008.

Second International Festival “Honey Spas-2008” (“Commemoration of the Procession with the Holy Life-Giving Tree”) gathered more than 130 participants. As is reported by the public association “Club “Belarusian Bees” the festival will take place in Minsk from 7^th to 17^th August, 2008.

Honey and other beekeeping products were brought to the capital by Belarusian, Russian and Ukrainian beekeepers. Besides that, Minsk St. Elisabeth Monastery will also offer its produce at the fair.

This year was declared the Year of Health. That is why the organizers of the festival arranged some theme grounds which combine spirituality and popularization of healthy life-style, physical culture and sport. Among them are: theme ground “Olympic Belarus” dedicated to the Olympic Games in Beijing, children’s recreation ground “Visiting a Bee” as well as the fair of folk master’s products. Moreover, the festival offers tasting and fair of honey and other beekeeping products.

Second International Festival “Honey Spas-2008” is organized within the framework of cultural and health promotion project “Honey and Health World”.
