Four Belarusian companies are at the second stage of the “CIS prize for achievements in quality” competition

Four organizations of the Republic of Belarus will continue to participate in the competition for the CIS prize 2009 for the achievement in quality of goods and services that is being held for the second time. That was reported in the press-service of State Standardization Committee of the Republic of Belarus.

Four organizations of the Republic of Belarus will continue to participate in the competition for the CIS prize 2009 for the achievement in quality of goods and services that is being held for the second time. PO “Gomselmash”, PC “Bobruiskagromash” and PC “Polotsk-Steklovolokno” will fight for the prize-winning places in the category “industrial goods”. Among the candidatesto become a prize-holder in the category “consumer goods” is PC “Babushkina krynka”.

The production of these companies is well known in CIS countries and abroad and popular for its high quality. It meets international and European standards and consumer needs.

Republican stages of the contest are at their final stage in other CIS member-states. Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Russian Federation, Tadzhikistan, Ukraine and other have already determined their candidates.

A contest experts’ meeting will be held in Minsk to provide a common approach to participants’ assessment at the second international stage that will take place in March this year.

The decision on awarding will be made at the CIS Economic council meeting.

The results of the contests will be known at the end of 2009. The prize-holders will be awarded diplomas and prizes and also there will be granted a right to use a Prize emblem for commercial purposes within the period of three years.
