Belarus keeps its readiness for implementation of single customs territory of Customs union in full force and effect

The republic of Belarus keeps its readiness for full implementation of single customs territory of Customs union between Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia in accordance with the Agreement on single customs territory creation and Customs Union formation as of October, 6th , 2007. that was reported in the statement of press service of Belarusian government.

Belarusian side is convinced that this work may be successfully completed by the 1^st July, 2010 due to implementation of the decisions made earlier within the scopes of the Customs union.

“At the same time Belarus starts from the fact that the withdrawals form the single customs territory regime proposed by the partners contradict with the active legal basis of the Customs union because they are not coordinated with the international rules and cause damage to the interests of the business entities and to the citizens of the three states”, - is stated in the statement.

At the moment Belarusian side does not have at its disposal the documents signed on May, 28^th, 2010 in St. Petersburg on the basis of the results of the meeting of the prime ministers of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.

In its turn Belarus proves the striving for the integration with Russia and Kazakhstan within the scopes of Customs Union formation and Single economic territory in full force and effort without the withdrawals”, -is pointed out in the statement.
