Customs Union members need Agricultural and Industrial Association. The proposal was made by Elena Skrynnik, Russian Federation Agriculture Minister, at the first International Business Forum on Development within the Customs Union and Common Economic Space, according the press service of the Russia Ministry of Agriculture. In order to integrate the economies of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, to provide effective interaction of business with the state, Elena Skrynnik, Agriculture Minister, proposed the establishment of Agricultural and Industrial Association of the Customs Union. The initiative was unanimously supported by member countries of the Customs Union.

At the level of the Ministry with the participation of all stakeholders will be established a working group. It is planned that the union will include all the leading industry (meat, dairy, grains, etc.) alliance of the three countries.
Joint efforts should be aimed at increasing bilateral trade, development of export potential, the solution of problems of global food security that would create a strong basis for integration processes. Russia and Kazakhstan are already important players in the global market; Belarus exports around 4 million tones of milk. According to the Skrynnik forecasts in 2020 Russia plans to supply the world market up to 600 thousand tons of meat products - meat poultry and pork. However, with the entry into the WTO, "it is important to quickly and painlessly solve the issues with the technical regulation, veterinary and phyto-sanitary standards, the adoption of protective measures against dumping of third countries on the combined market as a whole from various forms of unfair competition," E . Skrynnik said. "Together we can influence the situation on global food markets, and thereby ensure the stable development of national agricultural production", - Skrynnik concluded.
