Belarus and Tatarstan discuss ways to expand economic cooperation at a meeting in Kazan
The expansion of economic cooperation between Belarus and Tatarstan was discussed today at a meeting, in Kazan, between Igor Petrishenko, the Belarusian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Russia, and Rustam Minnikhanov, the President of the Republic of Tatarstan. Minister of Transport of Russia: Belarus and Russia to develop inland waterway transportation

Bill on integration of the Supreme Court and the Superior Arbitration Court is submitted to the State Duma of Russia
Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, has submitted a bill to the State Duma on the integration of the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation and the Superior Arbitration Court of Russia, as reported by Interfax. During the transition period (six months) the new Supreme Court will have 170 judges, who will be appointed by a special Assessment Board.

Russia may build own space station
A source in the Russian space industry has told Interfax that, in the near future, Russia may build its own orbiting space station and become independent in Space. This new project is already under consideration.

Belarus and Russia to negotiate extension of the agreement on oil export duties
The President of Belarus has approved a draft protocol between the Government of the Republic of Belarus and the Government of the Russian Federation as the basis for talks on the extension of the agreement (dated 9 December 2010) on the payment and transfer of export duties (and other duties, taxes and fees having an equivalent effect) on crude oil and oil products, exported from Belarus, to areas outside the Customs Union . A corresponding decree was passed by the Belarusian Head of State on 7 October. BELTA learned this from the press service of the Belarusian Head of State.
