V Forum of Business Cooperation between Belarus and Moscow Is Held in Russian Capital

As is reported by the press service of Moscow Committee on Interregional Relations and National Policy, V Forum of Business Cooperation between Belarus and Moscow is being held in the Russian capital on 24th-27th November.

As is reported by the press service of Moscow Committee on Interregional Relations and National Policy, V Forum of Business Cooperation between Belarus and Moscow is being held in the Russian capital on 24th-27th November.

The main events of the forum – the meeting of the Council of Business Cooperation, grand opening of the Palace of Sport Games, state reception in the name of Moscow Mayor and Government – are scheduled for today, November 25th. Besides that, on 25th November Sergey Sidorskiy, Prime-Minister of Belarus, is to pay a visit to Moscow. On his visit Belarusian premier is planning to meet with Moscow Mayor Yuriy Luzhkov.

The meeting scheduled for November 25th will be attended by V.B.Dolgolev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Russia; S.L.Baidakov, deputy Moscow Mayor at Moscow Government; members of Moscow Government and Belarusian Council of Ministers, official establishment as well as the representatives of the business community. The participants will summarize the effects of cooperation between Belarus and Moscow in 2008. The meeting will be addressed by M.Y.Solomentsev, Chairman of Moscow Committee on Interregional Relations and National Policy, who will present a report about the results of cooperation between the Russian capital and the Republic of Belarus.

Besides that it is planned to consider the results of cooperation between Belarus and Moscow achieved in scientific, innovation and food areas, cooperation at the consumer market as well as the progress of joint investment projects.

Moreover, the committees on cooperation in the sphere of architecture and construction under Moscow-Belarusian Council of Business Cooperation as well as on consumer market will meet in special sessions within the framework of the Forum. The meeting of the working group on cooperation among Moscow Department of Food Resources, Belarusian Ministry of Agriculture and Food and Minsk municipal and regional executive committees is to be held as well. It will touch upon the issue of rendering assistance aimed to develop integrated structures of food production and deliveries to Moscow.

The press centre of Belarusian embassy will hold a round table on the issue: “Formation of mass-media market: the ways of information space extension, problems and outlook for mass media distribution”.
