Volgograd businessmen make contacts with Grodno district

A delegation of representatives of business community of Grodno district of the Republic of Belarus will visit Volgograd district on March, 24. It will be led by the deputy Director general of Grodno department of Belarusian trade and industry chamber Vladimir Makarevich.

A delegation of representatives of business community of Grodno district of the Republic of Belarus will visit Volgograd district on March, 24. It will be led by the deputy Director general of Grodno department of Belarusian trade and industry chamber Vladimir Makarevich.

Within the scopes of the visit on March, 25 in Volgograd trade and industry chamber there will be Exchange of contacts “Volgograd district – Grodno district”. On behalf of Belarus representatives of “ZOV-LenEUROMEBEL” (enterprise that is occupied with realization of furniture of own production), “Polotsk milk plant”, “Belarusian food company” that realizes milk, meat, fruit and vegetable, tinned products, baby food and salt, will take part in the exchange of contacts. The representatives of “Belabedding” company is expected to visit the exchange – it realizes orthopedic mattresses of own production and also looks for regional dealers. “Industrial company “Mercury” will also take part in the meeting. It realizes steel firm combustive boilers with the capacity of 10, 30, 50, 75 and 95 Kilowatt, that are water heaters and for central heating. “Vorobovsk selkhoztekhnika” will also take part in the meeting.

We would remind that in 2009 within the scopes of the visit of representatives of Volgograd district in Grodno Cooperation agreement was signed between the Grodno district executive committee and the government of Volgograd district. One of the priority areas of the agreement is economic cooperation development.

We would add that the Republic of Belarus is the leading foreign trade partner of Volgograd district among CIS countries. Foreign turnover of the district with the Republic of Belarus in 2005 made up 238.7 million of US dollars. Volgograd district was in the top tenth of leaders with reference to the volume of imported turnover with Belarus among regions of Russia.
